格蘭德景觀酒店 (Hotel Grand A View)

The hotel is very clean and it's conveniently located on Top Road. It's only a short drive away from the beach and the airport.

The hotel has a cozy, private vibe which made it a decent little getaway. However, there were quite a few issues that need attention. The bathroom was not properly cleaned—there was a strong smell of sour mop mixed with bleach, the glass in the shower was grimy, and the mirror was dirty. The shower door felt unstable and made loud noises, as if it might fall off, so repairs are urgently needed. Additionally, I believe even though it’s not an all-inclusive hotel, basic amenities like a bottle or two of drinking water should be provided in each room for tea-making or emergencies. The kettle was unclean and there were barely any tea supplies available. The room door hinge also needed fixing—it made an odd sound and was hard to close properly. One concerning experience was when another guest accidentally opened my door with her key while I was in bed. Thankfully, the safety latch was on, but that’s a serious security issue that needs immediate resolution. The food was just average—often tasting like it had been reheated, which took away from the experience. I actually had to dispose of one meal from the restaurant because it wasn't ideal.. Overall, if these maintenance and service issues are addressed, it could be a much better experience. The ambiance and privacy were definitely the highlights.

The room we had was very spacious and comfortable however, there were small insects in the rooms and the locks on two of the windows were broken. The restaurant service was extremely poor, it took over 1 hour to get our meal order, the portion of food served for breakfast was limited. Hair was on the fruit salad for 2 consecutive mornings. Staff were very friendly especially Mrs Beverly. She was amazing!

1. Mosquitoes in the room and throughout the property. 2. Free breakfast was not really breakfast, and was cold or did not have vegetarian options. Can't even get proper toast. Our room was supposed to include breakfast vouchers / free breakfast, not just whatever gross buffet food they put out. 3. They walked into our room, ignoring the do not disturb sign, without knocking, while we were in the shower. 4. The bathroom doorknob was broken and we reported it, and they did not fix it. 5. The hotel shuttle times are very limited, and if you don't take the shuttle to the city, they won't pick you up, which makes zero sense. 6. The airport shuttle was not operating on our check out day, with no explanation other than it doesn't run today. We incurred extra costs due to no proper breakfast, no hotel shuttle, no airport shuttle. 7. The hotel is up on a hill, with beautiful views, but it is far from everything, on a very noisy road, and it was very noisy until very late into the night, making it hard to sleep.

Little run down but nice and friendly staff

Front Desk was pleasant and made up feel so welcome. The rooms were extremely clean and breakfast was way more than what I expected. Will definitely stay again..
